Clase Offline
An app for working in class without internet. Teachers publish assignments; students turn in work, get their grades and chat with the class. Everything travels directly between phones over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, with no router or mobile data. It is designed for rural schools and classrooms with poor connectivity.
What you can do
- Create classes and add students with a code or a QR code.
- Publish assignments with files, receive submissions, and give grades and comments.
- Class chat and end-to-end encrypted private messages.
- Review games (question race, true or false, matching and put in order).
- When there is internet: link the class to Google Classroom, back up to Google Drive and, for teachers in Mendoza (Argentina), transfer grades to the provincial GEI system.
Free and paid features
Everything needed to teach is free and will stay free. Only two optional items are paid, always through Google Play:
- AI credits, so that artificial intelligence can create game questions from a topic or an assignment. Each teacher gets free credits to try it.
- A monthly subscription for transferring grades to the GEI, for teachers in Mendoza only, with free transfers to try it.
The app has no ads and does not sell data.
